Fundraise
and raise vital funds to help us protect bats
Thank you for your interest in finding out how you can raise money for African Bat Conservation. Fundraising is a great way of supporting our work, every dollar you contribute helps us reach our research, capacity building and education and awareness goals.

There are lots of ways you can raise money on our behalf, from bake sales to running marathons. Or perhaps you want to ask for donations rather than gifts at your wedding or birthday party.
GET ACTIVE
There are lots of events you can take part in to raise money for us from the London Marathon to the Great North Run, to the Three Peaks Challenge, Lands End to John O’Groats cycle and the Iron Man/Woman.
Just remember to start training early, set up your sponsorship page and share your progress on social media. It’s always a good idea to buddy up with a friend to keep you company and motivated in your training sessions and help you fundraise.

You could raise £500 - £2,000
if you do take part in a sponsored run, walk, cycle or hike then make sure to get in contact with us so we can share in our newsletter and social media!

If running is not your cup of tea, why not organise a fancy dress event or bake sale?
HALLOWS EVE
Ask for donations to ABC’s work as part of your trick or treat walk with friends! We can provide you with posters and leaflets to hand out.
Or why not hold a Halloween party full of bat themed goodies and decorations. Adults can do this too or even dress as a bat to the office!
Organise a photobooth so people can upload their pictures! Ask for donations from guests or participants.

You could raise £200 - £1000
BAKE SALE
Everyone loves a homemade treat! Put your baking skills to work and create fun and themed cakes. You can do this at work or at school - why not ask friends or colleagues to join in to have treats to sell.
You could even hold a Bake Off-style competition with an award for the most creative or best tasting creation.
Remember to include vegan, veggie and gluten free options too!
